A room ready, in the window you have
Standard Room Turnover takes a room from check-out to check-in through five stages in one order and ends with a written check.
Back to HomeWhat it covers
Linen and towels changed, bathroom reset, floors and surfaces cared for, amenities restocked to your own list, and a final check against the standard sheet. The aim is a room that reads the same to the next guest whichever day or team handled it. A guarantee of how a guest will rate it is not part of that.
The five stages
- 01Linen change. Used sheets, covers and towels come off and are bagged for your laundry; clean sets go on to your own specification.
- 02Bathroom reset. Basin, toilet, bath or shower, mirror and floor are cleaned and dried; drains are checked for hair and blockage.
- 03Surface care. Floor, desk, handles, switches and glass, wiped or mopped from the far wall back towards the door.
- 04Amenity restock. Toiletries, tea or coffee items and paper goods are set out from stock the property provides, or from consumables quoted separately.
- 05Final check. The room is read against the printed standard sheet, and photographs are taken for the dated record.

Not part of this service
Laundry
Washing and drying of linen is done by a commercial laundry. See the linen service for hand-over and counting.
Repairs and pest control
A broken fitting or a sign of pests is noted and passed to you; fixing it is outside the scope.
Guest handling
Check-in, key hand-over, complaints and anything under lodging law remain with the property operator.
How it is arranged
Write in with the number of rooms, the usual check-out and check-in times and your restock list. We lay the window against the number of rooms; if it cannot work, the answer is that it cannot, with the reason. The result is a written quote naming the rooms, the dates, the scope and the price.
After each turnover, the record shows each room with its photographs and the time the final check was completed. Photographs show rooms and fittings, not people.
Talk it through
Describe your rooms and your window, and we will say how the sequence would apply.
